I found your Delft Marks articles and would like to say thank you for posting them. I have purchased a Delft “Toeback” jar and it is not as old as the makers marks you listed. It has this mark on the bottom:
00 / 57
P
@”
Holland
The 00 is a sideways 8 or the infinity sign.
The @ is an @ with ” attached to it and a ‘ coming off the bottom.
Have you seen a Delft mark like this?
Thank you.
Respectfully,
Alex
Hi Alex,
Unfortunately I am not familiar with that mark though my inclination would be that it is not ‘Royal’ Delft as it does not use Royal Delft’s alphabetic dating system that has been in place since 1879.
Good luck with your search.
Cheers!
Brian
